Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy

Jonathan Adler brought his Happy Chic aesthetic to the City of Brotherly Love.  His newest JA store opened on 3rd St. in Old City and all I have to say is..."Jon, What took so long?".



Deep in conversation

Groovy, retro, playful, happy; all words I would use to describe Jonathan's decorating style as well as the needlepoint rugs & pillows, lacquer, furnishings and ceramics that fill his stores.  Jonathan began his career as a potter, met his partner Simon Doonan (of Barney's fame) in 1994 and the two forged a powerful, personal and creative alliance.  Jonathan's business took off and he has not slowed down since.











Jonathan said he tries to strike the perfect balance between chic and cheeky.
