The curtain goes up on another holiday season at 57th & 5th. It's as if we are transported to the golden age of jazz in the 20's and 30's. BG presents its interpretation of the ebullient Ziegfeld Follies, and the extravagant Hollywood Busby Berkeley musicals.
The Art Deco jazz age is portrayed. Costume and design, group performances, solo and novelty acts, as well as vaudeville, are all represented. I love how they never shy away from a challenge. The details and intricacies in these displays are dizzying.
Meanwhile, behind the scenes, Wendy Goodman took us on a little tour of the visual display team that makes the magic happen year after year.

David has the words, "responsive, reliable, resourceful" written in tape on his wall. A good motto for all.
