I love a good collaboration! Vans and Liberty of London have paired up to co create a fanciful sneaker, the likes of which we've never seen. I am so thrilled that those sky high heels have been knocked down a few pegs, and comfort is key! I am always attracted to a paisley or the blue and white classic combo! The Vans above, while not slip ons, have the fashion forward attitude that is taking center stage as an emerging trend, and they offer many slip on styles to fit your fancy.
These Vans along with Kenzo are no less "notice me"
Originally adopted by skateboarders during the grunge period (a dark period for fashion), I am as shocked as anyone that I have now adopted the look for myself! We will continue to see a lot of great designs emerge! I have been sporting a pair of animal print slip ons from Mother of Pearl, and the camo calf hairs are pretty much must haves!
The trend is skating away with editors and fashion bloggers as the look explodes thru summer, and we will definitely be seeing heavier fabrics and more winter worthy styles emerging this fall. Street style takes on a high style vibe with exotic materials or sophisticated patterns. Designers at every price point have adopted a version to call their own.

Boy, do they look cool with culottes, or pair them with the appropriate trouser or swingy skirt. It's matter of proportion.
No longer the heavy, goofy sneakers of old, they feel fresh and edgy with their relaxed look and couture details. This is a trend with legs, walk in comfort and style!

Hang on to your heels ladies, but let's give our feet a much needed break without sacrificing any of the style!
