Fashion is fickle and the models hungry. Are we rebelling against all those kale smoothies and quinoa salads?
Fall 2014 certainly is entertaining us with its tongue in cheek humor. We've seen food and fruit in fashion before but these are super exaggerated, super saturated color confections that have a super hero, comic con- esque quality with a Willy Wonka surrealism. That is one way to dive into chocolate though. Jeremy Scott's collection for Moschino is like an ode to our fast food nation, no?
It seems everything from gummy bears to Cheetos to candy dots is inspiration.
